I was obsessed with lady bugs when I was ten, and I knew right away that I would have this shade plainly because of the name. #Mac lipstick shades name macThis is the most used MAC lipstick of mine so far. It arrives with the well-loved lustre finish that is known for being not too drying and not too creamy as well. #Mac lipstick shades name skinMAC labels it as a shimmery pink, and I this depends on your skin tone and lip color, but I see it as a much peachier in pink with gold shimmer. This lipstick was originally released in Asia only, but they put it on their permanent international list soon after. Such a bright, vivid, but still wearable red. The MAC Russian Red was a no brainer for me after swatching both shades. #Mac lipstick shades name for macYou can tell that my love for MAC was going stronger at that time so I researched some of MAC’s red shades and came across to the MAC Russian Red and MAC Ruby Woo. Viva Glam Miley is so pigmented and super fun for me.Īfter seeing my best friend’s beautiful red lipstick in the wedding of my cousin, I decided that I need to have a matte red lipstick. I fell in love with this shade after swatching both shades on my hand. Here’s a story behind this shade: I first wanted to try the Girl About Town but the MAC girl in the store I was in insisted on trying this shade first. It still has a natural color that makes it so wearable, however, it has more plum tones. This shade is similar to Syrup’s darker big sister. This is a super fun shade and is perfect for any girl who can’t wear orange color. I find myself throwing this shade in my bag for days on the go. It’s a mauve-pink shade that gives a “ my-lips-but-better” feel. The syrup is the quintessential “my-lips-but-better” color. This post can score as a “MAC collection” post too if you are into that kind of thing. So, my little MAC lippy collection has expanded to a staggering number of 8 in about three weeks. It didn’t take long before I chose a bunch more. I quickly fell in love with the colors, how they looked and felt. I recently purchased my first MAC lipsticks. Finding lipsticks for fair skin is such a big challenge especially for me, finding colors for fair skin. I’ve worn some of the horrible shades in the past. Finding the appropriate shade could be daunting, take me as an example. So if you are looking for pinky-mauve shade, this might be something for you.I assume that every girl knows that not every shade of lipstick will look good on all skin tones. Colour might be not new or exciting, but it’s done great. It’s very comfortable, non-drying lipstick.Ĭonclusion: Another great lipstick from MAC Love Me line. Without eating or drinking, it stays on my lips forever but may be gets less shiny. It doesn’t wear off in an ugly way, but kind of in layers. It won’t wear off fully with a cup of coffee but the top layer fades a bit. Longevity and comfort of Hey, Frenchie!: After some time of wear finish of lipstick becomes less shiny, but it doesn’t absorb or disappear on its own. Let me summarize its formula: lightweight oil infused gel-cream lipstick, natural finish, opaque, non-drying, non bleeding. The only difference between my shades is that Bated Breath leaves a stain, Laissez-Faire-doesn’t and Hey, Frenchie is in the middle :). This review is going to be short as formula is basically the same. My first post was dedicated to shade Bated Breath and second to Laissez-Faire. It looks flattering on lots of different people, but some dislikes such type of shade as it often pulls more pink in sun light. Frenchie! is a shade for someone, who wants to accentuate lips with some colour, but not with a bright colour like red or berry and not simple nude. ![]() It’s typical mauve/pink shade, which is used to be very popular some time ago. ![]() MAC describes Hey,Frenchie! as deep mauve nude. It looks like I picked all lipsticks from the same colour-family as packaging is the same. Today we are taking a closer look at shade Hey, Frenchie! Third and final review of my MAC Love Me Lipsticks.
